Get a closer look at what it’s really like to be a Pfeiffer Falcon! Visit Day gives prospective students and families the opportunity to experience campus, connect with the Pfeiffer community, and see what makes Pfeiffer feel like home.
During your visit, you’ll:
- Hear a welcome from our Director of Undergraduate Admissions
- Hear from Pfeiffer University President Dr. Scott Bullard
- Step into the classroom with a faculty-led workshop or mock class
- Enjoy lunch on campus
- Explore campus on a full guided tour
- Hear directly from current students during a student experience panel
- Have the option to tour Pfeiffer’s Center for Health Sciences in Albemarle, home to our graduate Physician Assistant and Occupational Therapy programs

Questions & Answers
- How long does Visit Day last?
Visit Day includes several activities throughout the day, including presentations, a faculty-led experience, lunch, a campus tour, and a student panel. Please plan to spend around 5-5.5 hours total on campus.
- Who can attend Visit Day?
Prospective students and their families are welcome to attend. We encourage parents, guardians, and other supporters to join you!
- Is lunch provided?
Yes! Lunch will be provided for registered students and their guests.
- What will I see on the campus tour?
Your guided tour will give you a closer look at Pfeiffer’s Misenheimer campus, including academic spaces, student life areas, residence halls, and other key locations.
- What is the faculty-led workshop/mock class?
This interactive session gives you a feel for the Pfeiffer classroom experience. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with faculty and experience what learning at Pfeiffer can look like.
- Will I get to talk with current Pfeiffer students?
Absolutely! Pfeiffer Student Ambassadors will be available throughout Visit Day, including during lunch, to chat and answer your questions. It’s a great opportunity to ask about student life, classes, getting involved, living on campus, or what it’s really like to be a Pfeiffer student.
- Can I meet with someone about my intended major?
Faculty will be involved throughout Visit Day. If you’re hoping to connect with someone from a specific academic program, contact Undergraduate Admissions before the event so we can let you know what may be available.
- Can I tour the Center for Health Sciences in Albemarle?
Yes. An optional tour of the Center for Health Sciences in Albemarle will be available. The Center houses Pfeiffer’s graduate Physician Assistant and Occupational Therapy programs.
- Do I need to register in advance?
Yes, we recommend registering in advance so we can prepare for you and your guests, including lunch and event activities.
- What should I wear?
Come comfortable and ready to explore! You’ll be walking around campus during the tour, so comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
Visit Day will continue rain or shine. Some portions of the campus tour may be outdoors, so we recommend checking the forecast and bringing an umbrella or rain jacket if needed.
- Where should I park and check in?
Parking and check-in information will be shared with registered guests before Visit Day.
- Who should I contact if I need to change my registration?
Contact Pfeiffer Undergraduate Admissions if you need to update your registration, change the number of guests attending, or have questions before your visit.
